Thanks to a combination of donor support and community partnerships, we focus our efforts across three key pillars—youth education, entrepreneurship training, and dental care—to help families work toward a better life.

At Rise Together, 100% of your outreach donation goes directly to the programs you care about—whether it's launching small businesses, delivering dental care, or tutoring students.
We’ve separated our finances into two buckets: Outreach and Overhead. A dedicated group of donors covers our operational costs, allowing every outreach gift to directly support work on the ground in Peru.

Our Story
The moment we arrived in Iquitos, Peru, it stole our hearts. Amidst the harsh realities of extreme poverty, we met some of the most courageous and resilient people we’ve ever known. After years of short-term trips, it became clear: we were being invited into something deeper—something that couldn’t be solved in a week or carried in a suitcase.
So, we stayed. And Rise Together was born.
Our beginnings were simple—gathering on a dusty soccer field, passing out peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and juice boxes. We sat in the dirt, learned names, heard stories, and built trust. Those moments planted the roots of relationships that have grown into lasting change.
Those conversations on the soccer field turned into a well-established after-school program serving over 100 children. As we walked alongside them day by day, we began to see deeper needs—and when students fell sick, we stepped in to provide emergency medical care. Over time, we met their families, listened to their struggles, and began walking with them too—offering support and helping parents launch small businesses of their own.
The journey hasn’t been without challenges, but it’s been marked by transformation, success, and countless moments of joy.
We may be small, but we are mighty—anchored in local relationships and driven by a community that believes real change is personal, practical, and possible. Together, we’re helping families rewrite their stories and rise toward futures full of opportunity.
